Here’s a little more about me.

Originally from South Jersey, I moved to New York after graduating from Rutgers University in 2013. My first goal–my only goal–was to make movies. Along with some collaborators from college, we founded Magnalux Pictures, a small production outfit that would go on to produce dozens of festival-winning short films and video productions for corporate and commercial clients. Then, as the 2017 election approached, I began posting politically-conscious supercuts and mashup videos on Twitter. The videos took off. Soon, big accounts like Judd Apatow and Tim Heidecker were retweeting me, and I worked up the courage to quit my day job and give this comedy video thing a shot.

For the next two years, I found consistent work making comedy videos for Nickelodeon, The A.V. Club, Funny or Die, Super Deluxe, and so many others. Then, I got my first full-time video editing job at the Lorne Michaels-owned sketch comedy website, Above Average. That led to a brief stint at Saturday Night Live, before I found a more permanent home at Esquire in 2017.

During this time, I began writing and producing sketch comedy in New York City. I joined the BoogieManja comedy collective, started performing monthly at the People’s Improv Theater, and somewhere along the way, I wrote a spec script for Saturday Night Live that imagined the Marvel villain Thanos hosting the show with musical guest, Hoobastank. To my surprise, a lot of people got the joke–it somehow became my first “Twitter Moment.”

At Esquire, I availed myself as both a video editor and writer, regularly commentating on such topics as the misogynistic fandom surrounding Star Wars, the new era of so-called “prestige” horror films, and the legitimacy of video games as a viable and culturally-significant art form. My reporting on the gaming industry–which eventually blossomed into a dedicated subsection on the Lifestyle vertical–led to an appearance on Fox 5 New York News, where I was interviewed about Mario Segale, the real-life inspiration for the Super Mario Bros.

Hailing from an Italian-American family outside of Philadelphia, I also began using my platform at Esquire to explore the Italian identity in modern-day America. I profiled Sebastian Maniscalco during the comedian’s record-breaking weekend at Madison Square Garden, and I spoke with NPR host Madeleine Brand about Joe Pesci’s overlooked music career on her KCRW show, Press Play.

After serving as Senior Creative Producer at Hearst, I’m currently seeking new full-time opportunities. Would love to work with you!
